On Friday we learned to count to 10 in Japanese! We were learning how it is easier to learn things when you use your eyes, your ears and your whole body! You can learn it here too, or look out for the video of us doing it - coming very soon!
You can listen to us counting to 10 here
Jozu desu yo!! (jo-zoo des yo) class 2. (That's great!) you sound like a real Japanese class.

ReplyDeleteLoved hearing your students counting to ten in Japanese. We are very lucky, we have had two groups of Japanese students come to our school and stay for a week or a week and a half. it was a wonderful experience for our students and we loved the interaction. We are a littled older than the students in your class, our students are Y7/8 which makes them between 11 and 13, we're also on the other side of the world, our students and our class is in New Zealand - what I wanted to ask your students is do you know where New Zealand is? Is there anything about New Zealand that you know? We are always looking for new classes to look at (can't wait to see the Japanese video of you speaking Japanese) so we will keep having a look at your class page and I am sure that you will get lots of visitors from all over the world.

Hi Mr Webb
DeleteCatie's uncle lives in New Zealand and we were there visiting last year. Her class were all fascinated by the fact that you guys are asleep when we are awake!
Wow! Hope that you enjoyed your time here in New Zealand. Where does Cathie's uncle live
