Finishing touches and Beebot problems

We put some finishing touches to our East Harling leaflets today, then had a go at problem solving with the Beebots. We had to work collaboratively to find out how to make maps for the Beebots to travel on.

Working out how bug the squares needed to be was the first step.

Meanwhile, others were putting some great finishing touches to their leaflets after thinking carefully about how they can be improved.

Now we need to send them to Ant!

Map makers!

Walking around the village helped us to plot some of the landmarks of East Harling into a map. We were brilliant at it! Look!

Our wonderful village!

We went for a walk in the village yesterday afternoon and my goodness didn't we learn some new and interesting facts!

We will share these with you, but not quite yet-you'll have to wait until we have finished our tourist leaflets all about East Harling and why it us a wonderful place to live!

The fire station

The old police station

We looked at some house names and learned that some of the houses used to be special places many years ago, like a bakery and a bank. Rueben's Great Nanny had a haberdashery on the market square.
Who lives here?!

The post office

We learned about the memorial and the village sign. There also used to be a vineyard in East Harling.
