The folk in the fire

We met some of the people from London who were fighting the fire. They told us how awful it was and how hard it was to fight the fire.
We met a maid who was stuck in the fire. It was terrible!

Fighting the fire

We went back to 1666 today to fight the fire. We used fire hooks, squirts and leather buckets, but the fire burned too ferociously.

The Tower of London

Evie made this fantastic model of the tower of London at home! She told us lots of amazing facts about it too! What a fantastic show and tell Evie!

The Great Fire of London!

Today we learned all about the events in the Great Fire of London. We received a tankard if we helped put out the fire!

Fire in the bakery!

In 1666 a fire started in London, in Thomas Farynor's bakery, in Pudding lane. This is how it happened.

The maid was asleep in bed, but was woken up by shouts. She was too frightened to jump to the next roof to escape the fire, so unfortunately she died.

Wow!!

Lily-Rose did a super picture at home and Jayden and Evie wrote fantastic postcards from London!

Pictograms!

Today we made birthday pictograms in maths.
