Judaism morning

We have been learning about Judaism this morning. We learned all about Shabbat.

We made our own Challah bread.

Our favourite books

We brought into class our favourite books today to share. Oliver and Jayden shared their Horrid Henry and Beast Quest books.

Amalie looked at Olivia's special book and thought it was like a fairy tale.

Fleur and Catie shared Catie's favourite book.

Maxwell and Marley enjoyed Horrid Henry too! 

Charlie was engrossed in Matti's dinosaur book! 

Coding with Espresso

Today we have been writing code and telling objects to do things. We learned that if things don't work very well you have to go back and try things again.

Lily-Rose thinks it's really fun and she is enjoying it. Sid said it was really good and the best bit was that his racing car was the best! Aidan said its amazing and he likes the way you can make things move up, down and across.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!

Deep in the heart of Banham the word WOW keeps bouncing around the walls of Miss BB's house! This is because she is reading the amazing writing by class 2! There are so many power words that Miss BB's socks have blown off her feet too many times to count! Look for yourself!

Amazing writing! (Part 1)

There is some amazing writing around the classroom at the moment! Some brilliant letters from nurses and soldiers in Scutari hospital and the diary of Florence Nightingale. They really capture what life was like in the war and the difference that Florence and her team of nurses made.

Health and medicine

Whilst we were learning about health and hygiene with Florence Nightingale, we thought about illnesses and medicines in modern times. Here are some of the things we knew already.

Creating e-books

We have been creating ebooks about Florence Nightingale this afternoon. 

We have done some research on the internet, remembering all about internet safety. 

We have remembered all the things we need in information books, like a contents page, titles, facts, pictures and page numbers.
